Winner Posted June 24, 2014 #52 Share Posted June 24, 2014 (edited) If you were impressed by the Gold Room the Heritage, definitely go to Moscow because --- you ain't seen nothin' yet! The Armory Museum in Red Square has an incredible collection of royal carriages, gifts from other royals to the tsars and the best collection of Faberges in the world. I remember a solid gold dinner setting for 100 diners, given, I think, by England's royal family to Empress Catherine the Great. An excursion to Moscow is a long day but very rewarding: you will experience beautiful old and dreadful modern Soviet-era architecture as well as the Kremlin and the subway. It was one of the highlights of my (Seabourn) cruises. Edited June 24, 2014 by Winner
