gigglesgee Posted June 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 27, 2014 We're flying into Miami on the 3rd and have the 4th to spend in Miami. We're at Hampton Inn Mary-Brickell - is there anything (fireworks and such) near that area? Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app

Rare Keith1010 Posted June 27, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 27, 2014 You are about a 10 minute walk over to Bayside Park where you can watch the fireworks. Keith

jkgourmet Posted June 27, 2014 #5 Share Posted June 27, 2014 One of the greatest evenings we ever had was actually when we went on one of those cheesy gambling cruises in florida on July 4th. Two hours of fireworks up and down the coast, visible gor literally hundreds if miles. I think we left from WPB or FLL, but it was MAGNIFICENT. To the OP, absolutely go to Bayside or Bayfront. Actually, the Hampton Inn has a pretty spectacular pool deck and I'd probably rather watch the fireworks from there than fight the crowds. Ask the hotel concierge what the deal is with the 4th.
