Justmekaren918 Posted July 15, 2014 #26 Share Posted July 15, 2014 I have read on other threads where people said they have never had to make a deposit more than $100 per person either, but it required me a $250pp deposit immediately, and all we have is an outside window cabin. I paid the $500 and it does show up in the details of the account, but now I'm afraid to make the rest of the payments online! I know I ran into this but was just searching, so no issue, but I think it has to do with RCI wanting more for a sale cruise. My lastest was not then BOGO hit and took advantage on all 3 cruises. I have just logged into my cruises like 8 times to deal with my cruise in 60 day's! Yeah! I guess keep those invoices, causes I have had 2 cruises changed, and I don't remember what they were at to the dime. I bet RCI is banking on that. I waited 45 mins and the agent quoted me a price more than my booking said of over $600 for our Nov. 8 Oasis cruise. Another 30 mins later it was fixed and he told me it happened because 2 days after booking- last Jan. 18- I went to the account and it changed. I only looked! I got an email survey from Royal asking about my experience and told them I won't be booking anything because I am afraid to. You are right because that is, after all, the logical way to access your cruises - particularly if you are not making reservations. This really is a ridiculous glitch.
