pamrose228 Posted August 14, 2014 #51 Share Posted August 14, 2014 So I just booked the Ecstasy for an October cruise with Styx performing at Carnival Live. Bought my tickets for the show while booking, why take a chance and I rather spend the $20 seeing them then at Senor Frogs in Cozumel. Remember all the ships and casino are closed until the next day since the ship doesn't leave port unti 1:30 am.

near the beach Posted August 15, 2014 #54 Share Posted August 15, 2014 We would probably $20 for tickets if there was a concert on any of our cruises. The theater is so small almost all would be good seats. I have not heard about any platinum or diamond passengers getting free tickets. I did hear that concerts will be held in 2015. The dates are being worked out now. They said they hope to add more acts than this year.
MissCruiseAddict Posted August 15, 2014 #55 Share Posted August 15, 2014 The private full charter music cruises have shown many popular artists are very happy to perform on cruise ships..it's not your "Love Boat" tv show line up anymore Yeah but these big name acts on the charter cruises are probably getting paid way more than what they would get for performing one night on a normal cruise. I went to the NKOTB cruise back in 2013. For a 4 night cruise, I paid WAY WAY more than what I would have for a normal Carnival Cruise. I could have taken 2 cruises possibly 3 for the price I paid for that one cruise. Why was it so much? More than likely to pay the band for being on the cruise with us.
