Courtyard Miami Airport or Fairfield Inn & Suites Miami Airport South?

We are planning our first cruise to the Bahamas next May in celebration of our daughter’s high school graduation and my graduation from college. We are flying down the night before and want a Marriott property close to MIA. Has anyone had any recent experiences with the CY Miami Airport and the Fairfield Inn & Suites Miami Airport South properties?:)

"The Courtyard Marriott is in the middle of a lot of entertainment, shopping and dining and has a fantastic pool (well, it's Miami, they are all fantastic here, we do pools well) and an airport shuttle."
