ssb Posted August 1, 2014 #76 Share Posted August 1, 2014 (edited) I'd love to hear that as well. Oasis class is my first love, but Voyager class is right behind that, especially Navigator and Mariner. internetwhiz Posted August 1, 2014 #77 Share Posted August 1, 2014 Hi Karen and Bill Miss that beautiful water in Cayman with y'all . Lee and Mary Yeah, unless there's something cheap, our sailings are taking us elsewhere. To Europe this fall and TA home, and Quantum next spring. If you see something reasonable on NV, let me know! Take care, Bill and the retired lady. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes we are always looking for deals or mistakes by RCL. And will advise if we find anything . :)
DebJ14 Posted August 1, 2014 #79 Share Posted August 1, 2014 On the Navigator if you are Diamond Plus or in a suite you don't need tickets to the ice show so the Suite concierge doesn't have them. That's great. We didn't need them on the Mariner either. Just showed the gold cards to the ushers and they escorted us to the reserved seating area. They opened the rest of the seats in the area to the rest of the passengers 10 minutes before the show, just like they do in the main theater. On the Voyager the Concierge asked which show we wanted to attend then asked us to be at the CL at a certain time and escorted the group down to the reserved seats. cruisinlover1414 Posted August 2, 2014 #81 Share Posted August 2, 2014 I will be going on the navigator in December! Please let me know how it goes! :) I have only been on the Allure and Oasis, never voyager class, so I am quite skeptical as well. I have cruised on Voyager, Mariner and Navigator many times! All are wonderful ships. And those all have been revitalized Including your Navigator. They are not the Allure or Oasis which have probably spoiled you. But they are way above the Triumph and Monarch . A good attitude with help. You are cruising by gosh. Enjoy your cruise! Galveston Cruiser Posted August 2, 2014 #83 Share Posted August 2, 2014 We were on the Navigator the first time in '08 and loved her then. Have sailed her 4 times in the last year, 3 prior to upgrades and once after, she is still a beautiful ship,

jrljel Posted August 3, 2014 #85 Share Posted August 3, 2014 Just go off of Navigator two weeks ago. There's no way of getting around the horrendous port situation in Galveston, sorry folks. That's just something you have to be prepared to deal with. Know it up front. Debarking was sooo slow but was NOT RCL's fault. However, I still love Navigator, it's just that I would not choose to go on that level of a ship again after being on the bigger ones and really missing the extras on those ships. Yes, still had a great time, but there are some things that do need to be addressed like the slow dining speed in the MDR, fixtures and pool towels that were not updated (why????) and some other public areas like the ceiling in the Windjammer that were gross. You will have a great time and I would go! Enjoy your time on the sea, but know that it's not Allure or Oasis and you'll be fine.
TEXASMUNK Posted August 3, 2014 #86 Share Posted August 3, 2014 1. Galveston disembark: Almost with fail, the delay is Customs. If the itinerary is Belize, the delay occurs. Belize has become a major exporter of drugs and thus the slower process of screening. 2. Bad reviews. This applies to 99% of the reviews. When you read a review, any review, try to understand who the reviewer might be....Ie, someone who hates boozes, someone who loves booze. Someone who does not DINE but only eats. Someone who hates the sun, or someone who loves the sun. My point being, that the reviewer 9including my own) do not come from a totally objective point of view. Reviews are based on person likes and dislikes, pre-concieved notions and expectations. So, read very review with "a grain of salt"
