Reflection 15th August Formal Nights & Black Tie

First time cruisers, we are joining Reflection on 15th August. What's the dress code like? Will I need black tie? Don't fancy the idea of lugging along a tux in the middle of August :) Was thinking smart trousers, shirt & jacket ? Any advice appreciated...

Smart trousers ,shirt & Jacket will be fine.The majority don't wear black tie & a lot wear suits but jacket seem the main requirement.

And be aware that this only applies to the MDR. No formal requirements in any specialty restaurant or the buffet.

For the mdr you just need a shirt, tie and jacket on formal nights but they aren't needed in the other restaurants on those days. And if you want to cut down further, the mdr will lend you a jacket for the duration of the meal

I haven't noticed any jacket loaning on my last three cruises. There have also been plenty of men without jackets in the MDR on formal nights. I'm not encouraging anyone to disregard the website dress codes, just stating the reality we've observed.
