PR Cruisers Posted August 15, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2014 The reception is daily or only on weekdays? What kind of drinks they offer?
nhraformula00 Posted August 15, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2014 It is daily from 5.30-7.30. Wine, budweiser beer, drink of the day, popcorn, pretzels, dips, ect.
bills blasters Posted August 15, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 15, 2014 Everyday from 5:30 to 6:30. You can get basic mixed drinks. Bloody Marys, beer, wine, etc. The snacks usually always have popcorn and pretzels, and we have had others like chips and salsa. You can get 2 drinks at a time. We for sure get our money's worth. If you want to sit there longer, stock up on a couple drinks towards the end. Claudia
CruiserBruce Posted August 15, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 15, 2014 (edited) The managers recepotion is tvery day, for two hours each day, not one. The offer most mixed drinks, though not with top shelf booze. House white and red. One or two beers. Rare Keith1010 Posted August 15, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 15, 2014 We had the same experience as CruiserBruce did with drinks being served for two hours. The do a nice job between the reception and the morning breakfast. Keith

IndyCapt Posted August 15, 2014 #9 Share Posted August 15, 2014 When we were there in May, they were serving bottled beer instead of the cups of draft beer which was nice...

CruiserBruce Posted August 16, 2014 #11 Share Posted August 16, 2014 Can anyone confirm the times for it? You can call and confirm, but it was 5:30-7:30 in February.
CyberTag Posted August 16, 2014 #12 Share Posted August 16, 2014 The managers reception at all ES we have been to is 5:30 - 7:30 daily.
CruiserBruce Posted August 16, 2014 #13 Share Posted August 16, 2014 The managers reception at all ES we have been to is 5:30 - 7:30 daily. They can vary the hours. We have stayed in a lot of ES (Hilton Diamond), and have seen 5-7 and 4:30-6:30. The Tahoe ES used to change their hours winter vs summer seasons. I would agree most manager's receptions are 5:30-7:30, but not all.
ItsAllAboutTheSass Posted August 17, 2014 #14 Share Posted August 17, 2014 I found that toward the end of the reception, the bartender know what I was drinking and would just start lining them up for me to come and get. We ordered pizza and went to bed afterwards.
Ivy drive Posted January 30, 2015 #15 Share Posted January 30, 2015 Were the snacks just pretzels and such or any hot hor d'oeuvres?

bills blasters Posted February 2, 2015 #19 Share Posted February 2, 2015 You can get Pizza from the menu in the bar. Was very good. Claudia
Ashland Posted February 2, 2015 #20 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Where did you order pizza from? Do they deliver it to the reception area? The bar at Embassy shares some space with their restaurant..so you can order off the menu.
kjunea Posted February 2, 2015 #21 Share Posted February 2, 2015 We had the best Sangria there last year. Manager made it himself (or so he told me!)

kayehall Posted February 3, 2015 #25 Share Posted February 3, 2015 Yes, Duffy's is right across the street in the plaza that sits behind the Embassy. We had cocktails until 730pm and then walked thru the pool area to the other side from the plaza and ate at Outback. Plenty to choose from within walking distance. And lots of stores in the plaza to pick up stuff in the morning to take on the ship. I don't remember being charged for internet???
