Adaptors for Carnival Legend (Aust)

Hi, I am going on Carnival Legend in Nov and rang carnival today as was told that they will have aust plugs on the ship so there is no need to bring adaptors What's:: your view on this as it is an American ship?

I would take one just in case, better safe then sorry.

The Carnival FAQs state that there is 1 240v outlet per cabin.

I would tap an adapter or more. They are only $1 on ebay.

I have had it confirmed by a passenger who is currently on the Legend sailing to Australia that each stateroom has 1 Aussie power point.

From what I can see the Legend doesn't sail for Australia until 30th. Are they on back to back cruises?

the Legend does a 12 night cruise on the 24th september
