Does it have to be a credit card you use to swipe or can it be your room key card?

Also, what if your room mate needs to open it and your not there?

D

Carnival says to not use your key card.

We use an old grocery store points card. But you can use anything with a mag stripe.

We hide the card in the cabin so all in the cabin have access.

Swipe. We used a card from a local casino that has a magnetic strip. We designated a place where we hit the card in the room so that if I needed to get in the safe to get my purse and DH (and his wallet) were not with me, I could still get in the safe.
