KJMommy04 Posted September 11, 2014 #26 Share Posted September 11, 2014 How does the wine corkage fee work? Do they charge the fee as soon as you board the ship? If not, and I'm only using the wine in my room, how would we be charged?

meltingmoments Posted September 11, 2014 #28 Share Posted September 11, 2014 (edited) Just thought I'd add our Viva Vino list from the Getaway on the 9th August. Whilst the prices remain the same as in don't-use-real-name's post, some of the wines I noticed are different. Hope this helps! :) Sorry folks, I've had to add a link rather than the photo.....couldn't seem to upload a decent-sized version! :( Edited September 11, 2014 by meltingmoments Technophobe at work!! maggie416 Posted September 11, 2014 #30 Share Posted September 11, 2014 Yes, they will. Or you fill you glass and take it with you. Or take the bottle with you to your room. Or take the bottle with you to another bar. Or, have them mark it and hold it. Thank you!

It's now $54 a day I think and you would need to drink 7 drinks a day for 7 days to break even.
Deb and Jack Posted September 11, 2014 #32 Share Posted September 11, 2014 I purchased the 4 bottle Viva Vino package on the Epic in June and had all 4 bottles delivered to my cabin. Glasses and corkscrew, which I kept, were with the wine. 1 bottle chilled and the rest on the counter. Ice bucket was never empty. clarkfam Posted March 13, 2015 #33 Share Posted March 13, 2015 You may also bring your own wine onboard for a $15 corkage fee per 750ml bottle. We found it easier to buy the Vivo Vino package, which starts at $88 for 4 bottles plus gratuity. They sell the packages in the Atrium when you board or at any bar. What is the Vivo Vino package? Rare sparks1093 Posted March 13, 2015 #34 Share Posted March 13, 2015 What is the Vivo Vino package? A deal where you can buy several bottles of wine at a discount. They have different levels with different qualities of wine. They give you vouchers for the wine that you select and you give the voucher to any server anywhere and they will bring you that bottle. They should have a table set up in the Atrium with information about the program.
Rare KeithJenner Posted March 13, 2015 #35 Share Posted March 13, 2015 (edited) What is the Vivo Vino package? There are all the details you need in this very thread. Edit: Actually, I think you were just pointing out a mistype. If so, that's very funny. Well worth reviving an old thread for. Merriem Posted March 13, 2015 #36 Share Posted March 13, 2015 I am sure somewhere in these threads there is an answer to this question...however simply if you have the UBP I assume you can take a drink from the bar to your room. Thanks in advance.
Rare KeithJenner Posted March 13, 2015 #37 Share Posted March 13, 2015 Of course you can. You can take your drink with you when you move around.

clarkfam Posted March 19, 2015 #40 Share Posted March 19, 2015 Hey there, I was wondering if anyone knew of a close store near the port that we could go and buy a case of water since we are flying in and can't bring our water with us?
