How did u get the info to schedule it ? I'm glad you had a great time as well! You can call NCL directly or your TA. The BOGO cruise should be attached to your Latitudes account. We called our PCC (Personal Cruise Consultant) since we booked the Breakaway cruise with him. We called the day after we got back from our Breakaway cruise to make sure we can get the sail date that we want. Since we have to book flights and hotel as well, we need to start planning as soon as possible.

I'm referring to this http://www.cruisecritic.com/news/news.cfm?ID=5920 I have also read it in this thread and another one that I can't find any more. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2074620 We also experienced new menus in the MDRs and dinner specials in O'Sheehan's. "Chocoholic Night" in the MDRs are also good. I will try to post some photos tomorrow.

It was good to know what to expect. aquarianne11 Posted September 15, 2014 Author #35 Share Posted September 15, 2014 Like I have mentioned in the early part of my review, we really enjoyed the food during our Norwegian Gem Cruise last December. Before our sailing, I have read some threads about the menu changes. Some things made me excited, like the Chocoholic Night in the Main Dining Room. I have to admit that the food was not the highlight of our trip, but we always found something we liked. I can also honestly say that I have enjoyed all the desserts that I have ordered. DD ordered the Meat Lasagna al Forno. This is part of the Classic Dishes (Always available menu) There are 3 types of Lasagna in the always available menu... Vegetarian Lasagna Rolls Always Available Menu Classic Dishes - Main Dining Room Roasted Chicken Breast Flounder Milanese Spaghetti Bolognese Striploin Steak Meat Lasagna al Forno Vegetarian Lasagna Rolls Turkey Sausage Lasagna Other things we ordered: Crab Cakes Thai Green Chicken Curry

aquarianne11 Posted September 15, 2014 Author #37 Share Posted September 15, 2014 Like any kid, DD really enjoyed the buffet. Buffet is quicker, so that was nice if we want to eat quickly and catch a show. We had to check out the Seafood Night. No lobster was served but different fish dishes were available. The Lobster and Shrimp Pasta was also available. Displays We also had dinner at the Garden Cafe during port days in Bermuda. Asian Night - "Taste of Asia"
alangford03 Posted October 27, 2014 #38 Share Posted October 27, 2014 This was a great review! Thank you! I have a question though - the bracelets they give them for Splash Academy, do they come off or do they have to wear they the entire 7 days even when they are not at Splash? I ask because my youngest (6yrs) has sensory issues, not sure she would be OK with wearing it to bed and such. thanks! Ameena
MCAT48 Posted October 27, 2014 #39 Share Posted October 27, 2014 They can try to make the bracelet loose enough for it to come off. There is however a 5$ fee if you lose or damage the bracelet...but they did say they would replace it if it gets damaged/worn by the pool. The bracelets are made a plastic. aquarianne11 Posted January 13, 2015 Author #42 Share Posted January 13, 2015 Do they have a "kids cafe" as part of the buffet like they do on the Dawn? Thanks! Sorry for the late reply... I wasn't able to check this site for sometime... I did NOT see a "kids cafe" as part of the buffet on the Breakaway. My daughter loved the Kid's area on the Gem (with the little chairs and TV) so we were looking for a similar area on the Breakaway. But we never had a hard time finding seats.
