No real advantage as is same price

Only difference is a smaller room account at end of cruise

You also get the word Coca-cola printed on your sea pass instead of having a sticker if you prepurchase.

I always buy the soda package online. The Coke sticker is printed on the card, so even though the soda bottle is in your cabin waiting for you, you can still order a pop at a bar as soon as you board and they give it to you in glass.

Not sure if it is tax or gratuity but the price you pay purchasing beforehand is exactly the same as you pay on board. There are no savings.
