Mikecimi Posted September 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2014 Hi, Is there any way to know which balcony dividers can be opened on the Valor? I'm not sure I trust the response that I received from calling customer service. Thanks
Mikecimi Posted September 22, 2014 Author #2 Share Posted September 22, 2014 Does anyone know if this information is accurate http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/Carnival/fleet/conquest/cabin_descriptions/verandah.htm I want to make sure that if is says they are connecting, you can have the divider opened without blocking a door. YB Nrml Posted September 22, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2014 I'm pretty sure most balcony dividers can be opened along the sides of the ship. We had a very thorough balcony cleaning on one of our cruises and they opened up all the dividers while they were working. DH went out and took a pic of "our" balcony. It was about 50 feet long with lots of chairs and tables. :) That being said, if you want your divider opened, one adult passenger from each cabin has to go to guest services and request it. Do it right after you board because they will only open a few and if you wait too long your request will be denied.
queeniemi Posted September 22, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 22, 2014 Your list is correct, those cabins open in the right direction. Have done it twice, once in the correct order and once with alittle scooting a chair around when they gave us the wrong setup! You can make anything work with the right cabin attendant! imluvncruzn Posted September 23, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 23, 2014 (edited) We have been on the Valor 3x...most recently in May. The information on cruisedeckplans dot com is correct. We had 3 cabins in a row on the lido deck and they would not open the third because it was a safety hazard having the divider swing back and cover the balcony door. So just keep this in mind. I would not count on having them open a balcony divider if its not "supposed" to be open. On other ships we've had success with them opening the dividers on multiple rooms but not on the Valor. brutusmom Posted September 23, 2014 #7 Share Posted September 23, 2014 Go to web goccl dot com. Put ship name in search. Then go room description. This page is the Holy Grail. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
