Depends on the port personnel, but they usually allow a party to stay together.

Some people mistake Priority check-in for Priority Boarding. It has been my experience that the actual boarding is only for upper tier C&A members. I'm sure every port may be a little different, but I don't think I have ever seen Priority boarding for Gold. ??

Gold status is basically anyone who has seen an RC ship.

No, it's for anyone who has BEEN ON a RCL ship. I thought you'd have known that with all the time you spend on this forum.

Like Langley Cruisers, I don't think that there is a separate check in for Gold C&A but this can vary. However, groups boarding together is never usually a problem.

After general boarding starts, there's no priority boarding, you board as soon as you check-in.

 

Before general boarding starts, you would have to wait after check-in. Then when they start to let people on the ship, they let suite guests on first, then others by C&A level.

Depending where you sail out of, what you'll often find is the non-C & A check in line is the shortest. I've seen the Suite and Diamond line the longest in Florida.
