Artemus Posted October 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2014 Are there any help yourself ice machines on any ships? I always go to a bar and ask for ice but was wondering if there were any ice machines that you could help yourself.
grandmacani Posted October 3, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2014 There is ice dispenser at the counter where you get iced tea and lemonade. This is in the buffet at the lido buffet. Sent from my iPad using Forums
andy.capitan Posted October 3, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 3, 2014 Your room steward will provide ice twice a day or you can always call room service.

No. In order to maintain USPH requirements, the ice machines are accessible to crew only.
cb at sea Posted October 4, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 4, 2014 Just ask your cabin attendant for ice! Tell them you need it replenished twice daily...it's what they do!

However, your room steward is responsible for keeping your room's ice bucket full.

Ehpride Posted October 4, 2014 #10 Share Posted October 4, 2014 (edited) The cups are made out of plastic. Yes, they are. I meant that you can get ice on lido, but you would have to fill glasses/cups. JennyD1 Posted October 4, 2014 #13 Share Posted October 4, 2014 The bartenders on the lido deck always fill our cooler with ice as well as our room steward. Never a problem.
