We just wanted to say Hello and Thanks. We are new to cruising and message boards. What a wonderful day we have had Reading all the post and getting to know others who are excited about cruising:) . Of course since we have never cruised before you all are to blame for some of our excitement it being contagious and all ! We are going on our first cruise on September the 8th 2005 on the Holiday. Celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary with our best friends :D who are also celebrating their 15th anniversary as well. Happy Cruising and God Bless :)

Take it from someone who knew nothing about cruising a year and a half ago -- you will learn alot on these boards and become addicted to both cruising and these forums. Heed most of the advice you see here and you will be ahead of the game when you walk up -- or down -- the gang plank onto the ship.

 

Lastly, have a great first cruise and come back and tell us about it! :)

Welcome and have a wonderful cruise. The Holiday was our first cruise ever and it hooked us forever - there's nothing like that first cruise and I hope it's the same for you.

Yes do have a foo foo drink as soon as you get on the ship. What a great way to start the party.

Happy Anniversary- You'll surely have a fabulous cruise. Do the renewal of vows thing and let them videotape it. Awesome memories there

Welcome aboard and congrats on the 15th. We also celebrated our 15th this year. We will be getting off of the Holiday on the 8th. My sister-in-law and her husband will be traveling with you. It will also be their first cruise. She is thrilled to be going and he isnt......at least not YET!!!!

 

One thing to keep in mind is to PARTICIPATE (plus you sometimes get FREE stuff). One thing about a cruise is that you are never going to see these people again so forget about being embarassed. The idea is to enjoy yourselves.
