DaveOKC Posted October 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2014 I recently booked a cruise with a HAL PCC (personal cruise consultant) and he was able to immediately get me the stockholder credit. In the past I always had to fax the information in to HAL. This way was alot easier! This could have been due to the fact that I had booked another cruise with him about 2 months prior and faxed my stock info in at that time (directly to HAL). Just thought I would pass this on. arzz Posted October 22, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2014 My TA does it for me - but each time I need to supply a new stock statement. The one we used for our July Alaska was no longer good for our September Grand Asia - and it was not there when we got on the ship. Front office helped us clear that up quickly. As my TA said - they had it but they didn't know they did.
DaveOKC Posted October 22, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted October 22, 2014 I normally fax my request to Carnival/HAL myself and it shows up in my account in a day or two (last time it was in minutes). As I mentioned, this time I did not have to bother, the PCC did it for me. I make sure to have a copy of my credit either from my TA (I used before) or my statement on HAL's website. As a backup, I bring the faxed request with me on the cruise. DaveOKC
arzz Posted October 22, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 22, 2014 I had the electronic copy of my redacted stock account statement. I emailed it to a special email address provided by the front office nd it was done.

DaveOKC That's right, it's because you had faxed the stock info just a few months prior. It's good for a few months (6? not sure). Our PCC just lets us know if she will need a new fax with proof of ownership. :) Depending on how often we book our cruises, we just leave it up to her to let us know. Rare richwmn Posted October 22, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 22, 2014 My PCC also keeps a copy of my most recent redacted statement and uses it if possible. My last two cruises were covered by the same statement, and the most recent credit showed up before I was going to request it.
bcd2010 Posted October 22, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 22, 2014 I have >100 shares, all transactions online. What exactly do I need to send in to get my OBC? Do I just print something off the web site (e.g., Ameritrade web site) such as my latest (online) statement? Can I email it rather than fax it? We haven't faxed anything in years. :)
