Carrie70 Posted October 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2014 I know there's the sea pass card to charge to but is there any reason to have cash besides getting off at the ports? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
BekkaW Posted October 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2014 (edited) The Casino requires cash, if that is something that interests you. Tipping is the only other thing I can think of. Standard gratuities are charged daily but if you order room service it's customary to tip a few dollars, some people also like to add $1 or so to their drinks. We usually tip out our cabin steward and dining servers a little extra in cash at he end of the cruise also. gerif Posted October 23, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 23, 2014 You will need cash if you want to use he casino. You can get cash from your sea pass for this but it will cost you 5%. Also, if you order room service, you will need some small bills for tips. If you don't use either of these things, you won't need cash unless you want to tip extra. cb at sea Posted October 23, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 23, 2014 (edited) Actually, except for room service tipping (cash), any additional tips you wish to make can be written on the sales tab, or added to your sea pass, along with the normal tips! The ship is basically "cashless". Edited October 23, 2014 by cb at sea
