luvtheships Posted October 29, 2014 #26 Share Posted October 29, 2014 (edited) First off, all that shutting down and disinfecting is because of illogical hysteria. EVERYONE has explained how it takes bodily fluid exchange to catch it. And, the ship is just trying to cover themselves. In reality, people do not fill out things truthfully. I agree with you Except they keep changing their definition of how you can contact bodily fluids Sneeze no sneeze Airborne not airborne From the infected guy next to you on the bus not from the infected guy on the bus. These highly intelligent doctors are sounding like complete idiots ... Tells me they are being told what to say or it is a massive smokescreen. We are nearing the bottom of that slippery slope and we didn't even notice we were sliding down it unfortunately Sent from my iPhone using Forums Edited October 29, 2014 by luvtheships

Specialties in medicine exist for a reason. Not every doctor is an infectious disease specialist. Have you thought maybe if all the media were actually getting their information from one source, one who was specifically trained in this exact area, then the info would be the same? The true infectious disease specialists who are specifically trained in the Ebola virus, have not wavered one whit from their original statements of how this is spread. These doctors you claim are being told what to say are paid for by the media outlets themselves and have no direct training in dealing with Ebola. They are out to sensationalize as they are told to do by those who pay them. Start listening to the true specialists in this field and you will hear very consistent guidelines and protocols. And, you might sleep a little better at night.
garycarla Posted October 29, 2014 #28 Share Posted October 29, 2014 Actually, pretty much anyone that is even attempting to talk rational says the very same thing, specialist or not. Heck, even the TV anchors say it, then they take off spreading fear. Like....we have a confirmed case in one of the most populated cities in the world...etc. etc. Nobody takes note of the hundreds of other contagious and often fatal other diseases that exist in our everyday world. Amazing. Amazing.
