justmeindustland Posted October 31, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 31, 2014 I leave in around 10 days so I am down to worrying about details like what to pack. Does the Tere Moana supply the string bag like the PG does or do I need to bring something? One of the major drawbacks that I found on booking the Tere Moana is you get a roll call of one. :( Thankfully another Tere Moana roll call let me hang out with them since they were lonely too. Emdee Posted November 1, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 1, 2014 (edited) I am pretty sure we got the string bag... Enjoy your cruise and do come back and let us know your thoughts. Say hi to Joey, chef Abhisek, Vishal and hotel Director Nelson from the DCunha family! Edited November 1, 2014 by Emdee

We shall each think of the Tere Moana as our own private yacht on our respective cruises, I say! :)

I will come back and let everyone know how it went though I can't imagine it being anything but wonderful. As you can see, I am the glass half full type of person. I do think of it as my own private yacht with 86 friends I haven't met yet.:D

We, like you, are planning on trips on both the TM and the PG within the same year. The only thing to do when you cannot decide!:o

But I won't be back on the PG until 2017 so that's a long wait!
justmeindustland Posted November 3, 2014 Author #7 Share Posted November 3, 2014 . The only thing to do when you cannot decide!:o We actually almost book three trips on PG ships in 12 months but decided to try break it up with Silver Seas. The one thing we have learned is that we are not big ship cruisers. Emdee ..... I am sorry. I am sure it will go faster than it feels right now. azgkrudi Posted November 4, 2014 #8 Share Posted November 4, 2014 I do think of it as my own private yacht with 86 friends I haven't met yet.:D We are thinking the same thing. We love small ships and enjoy meeting like-minded people. Getting pretty excited now!!! The only drawback is, this will be our first cruise without a balcony. The fare was way too good to pass up though. I have no doubt we will spend most of our time on the upper deck or aft, anyway..
justmeindustland Posted November 4, 2014 Author #9 Share Posted November 4, 2014 I have no doubt we will spend most of our time on the upper deck or aft, anyway.. We bypassed the balcony also. We spent so little time on it that I would rather have a longer cruise.

Will be doing a lot of travelling on Crystal, Tere Moana etc ...but just not on the PG. Like all ships even the very big ones. Great casinos in the big ships!
