Update from on board around 11:30AM.

Weather update. We’re having 20 ft waves and a rogue wave around 5 am at way over 40 ft. (the one that broke two lifeboats from their moorings—so they are now resting on deck 4, sent water into deck 4, broke sliding glass doors on deck 4, and disabled all aft elevators).

 - maybe I'm glad we rescheduled for last week's cruise! I'd probably be petrified! The last night of last cruise was ENOUGH for me!

Hoping everyone is ok....the Explorer has been through several hurricanes and tropical storms....she is a great ship....I have been on her during a storm and many others have been on her through several storms...just a little further and the waters should smooth out. South Carolina has some of this storm from TN and NC as well before heading out to sea.
