NCL Epic Feb 8 - 15, 2015 - 7 days Western Caribbean

Is it just me, or does it seem like the G&L cruisers are always on a different sailing right around the time you are going, but not on the same one you are doing? I realize it's still a bit early for this particular one, but I have not located anyone doing this one. I found others doing previous sailings, and one doing the sailing immediately after this one, but not the same one. I was just curious.

Ditto! Anyone want to go on the valor southern caribbean on January 18th, 2015 leaving out of San Juan? I like to hang out in the sports bar, casino, and I am one that likes the comedians with lots of gay jokes (that's long speak that I have a sense of humor!)

We actually have two gay friends from Dallas going on this trip, altho we are trying to talk them into switching it over to the Getaway that leaves the next day....

If you talk them into switching to your cruise, then you have just demonstrated my point! :) I hope to meet others going on this one. Have your friends switched, or are they staying on this one so they can meet me? :D

They will be meeting you. Nice guys. Dennis and Brian. We wanted to do this one but we've been on the Eoic twice and we're getting married in The Keys on the 15th, do the timing was off.

Welcome aboard Carl (and Brett) (and Lib)! Thanks for posting to this. I hope to get to meet you. My 2 friends and I have a Spa Mini-Suite with Balcony on Deck 14, and we will probably go to the FOD's some or all of the nights depending on the place/time--particularly the time.

One question I do have, does the ship post the time and place or like RCCL, a fellow passenger posts a time and place by the pursers desk?

 

Yes, the ship posts a notice. It should be on the bulletin board listed under "Friends of Dorothy" or "GLBT", or something to that effect. If I recall from my last cruise on the Epic, it was every evening at either 6 or 7 PM in Shaker's Martini Bar. That's often a bad time, since it interferes with supper. If I recall correctly, though, we would have a drink there before going to supper. On the cruises I've been on with RCCL, it was at 10 PM at the Viking Crown Lounge, Vortex, (or other bar depending on the ship). I can't remember where the bulletin board was located, but I will check the purser's desk. Somehow I manage to find it on each cruise.

I met Dennis & Brian. They are very nice guys. I saw them a few times at Shakers Martini Bar in the evenings.

Hey, did you guys make it to Shakers Martini Bar around 7 PM on any of the nights? I asked around to see if anyone had met you, but I don't think anyone had. We may have ended up meeting, but I don't think we did. I hope you had a good time.

I was booked on this one and really looking forward to it, but had to cancel at the last minute. Still, I hope you all had a great cruise!

 

As for me, I'm now rescheduled on the NCL Getaway for 09.05.2015.
