Rare Lois R Posted December 8, 2014 #76 Share Posted December 8, 2014 Thanks! I love the Molecular Bar, but many of the drinks are too sweet for me as well. Looking forward to trying these new ones! The Kentucky Derby is my new favorite......:D not sweet. Give it a try.
C 2 C Posted December 8, 2014 Author #77 Share Posted December 8, 2014 I'm sitting on our starboard balcony in perfect conditions, warm, not hot, oily seas, sunny skies..
miataman19 Posted December 8, 2014 #78 Share Posted December 8, 2014 (edited) I've uploaded a pdf of a menu for day 1 to 7: Arno, sailing on Reflection in 39 days. Thanks for the menus. They might change but at least we have the general idea. Our last sailing on Reflection we did the Ultimate Dinning package and only ate in the MDR for breakfast once.. lol. Loved The Porch.. kbmr Posted December 9, 2014 #79 Share Posted December 9, 2014 Arno has the Reflection done away with their brunch, I've heard fleet wide yes they have, however Celebrity CS tells me no.
C 2 C Posted December 9, 2014 Author #80 Share Posted December 9, 2014 Arno has the Reflection done away with their brunch, I've heard fleet wide yes they have, however Celebrity CS tells me no. There was no brunch on Millennium and no brunch on Reflection. I thought as well that they had ended fleet wide. There is now a dessert buffet on one afternoon but the scene was not pretty as some people felt the need to gorge themselves as they proceeded through the line. Lasts week we dined in shorts legally at the lawn grill. What a feast! The other specialty restaurants pale in comparison in enjoyment reminiscences. :D:D

While on the Equinox we would walk past the glass show and my wife would take a deep breath. Tho Murano & Tuscan were very good, they did not compare to the Lawn Club. C 2 C Posted December 9, 2014 Author #84 Share Posted December 9, 2014 Hi Arno! How was Indulgence? Thanks! Nikki We stayed up last night for the "event". For $20 pp the drinks might have been worth it. They show some quirky costumes but a performance??? We showed up for the Sin City comedy act 15 minutes early but there was not even standing room available. C 2 C Posted December 9, 2014 Author #85 Share Posted December 9, 2014 Our cabin is located on deck 7 before the hump. If you stay onboard you WILL listen to the music played at Señor Frogs. The starboard side does seem to have a less favourable view in port but we did not want a location above the smoke deck.

schlimazel_traveler Posted December 9, 2014 #87 Share Posted December 9, 2014 We showed up for the Sin City comedy act 15 minutes early but there was not even standing room available. Are shows recorded and broadcast later on the tv system? On a previous cruise on Royal we were able to watch shows and activities we'd missed on the tv in the cabin. BACON227 Posted December 9, 2014 #88 Share Posted December 9, 2014 Arno........would you be able to check the wine list to see if there are any Riesling or Moscato wines by the glass that would be included in the classic package. Thanks and enjoy your cruise.
C 2 C Posted December 9, 2014 Author #89 Share Posted December 9, 2014 Did you dine in shorts in the evening or for lunch? Evening. It's a nearly outdoor location and can be quite warm. That attire is perfectly appropriate for the setting. Picture taken while in Miami.

We have thought about it but really not interested in having to change cabins. Looking forward to our time on the Reflection end off January! Really appreciate your posts and you taking the time to give us the info. Edited December 10, 2014 by dcruisers

C 2 C Posted December 10, 2014 Author #95 Share Posted December 10, 2014 Enjoying all the food groups in my lunch. Harbour view from our starboard cabin near the hump: (We did have an oil barge and tug below us for much of the day) A Carnival ship is approaching to block the view on the Port side. What a difference a week makes. Last week I believe there were 6 ships in port, including Oasis. This week, just two. The blue photo was taken through the glass in Tuscan at the elite breakfast this am.

C 2 C Posted December 14, 2014 Author #98 Share Posted December 14, 2014 I watched a bit ago on the Miami web cam as the Captian slowly brought the Reflection to the dock. Welcome home Arno. What is up next? We just arrived home a few hours ago fro our flight. We're home for the holidays and then back to Reflection right after New Year's Day. We certainly did not experience all the problems mentioned on Andy's thread but a lot of people went home with colds. Anyone planning a cruise, bring your medicine cabinet.
