Mickeylee Posted December 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 3, 2014 Just received this from Royal: "Hello, this is Royal Caribbean International. Check in will take place from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM. We strongly encourage and recommend guests arrive at the following designated times in order to enhance the check in and boarding experience. We invite our Suite, Crown & Anchor Pinnacle, Diamond Plus, Diamond, Emerald and Platinum guests to arrive anytime between 12:00 PM and 3:30 PM. All other guests should arrive based on your stateroom deck assignment. Guests on Deck 10 at 12:00 PM, Deck 9 at 12:30 PM, Deck 8 at 1:00 PM, Deck 7 at 1:30 PM, Deck 6 at 2:00 PM, Deck 3 at 2:30 PM, and Deck 2 at 3:00 PM. We look forward to welcoming you onboard the Freedom of the Seas." I wonder if this has anything to do with the mechanical problems that FOS has had recently or if they are sending this notice out on a regular basis. Inquiring minds want to know. ;)

If it does have anything to do with the ship you will be notified of such with particular instructions.
cruisegirl1 Posted December 3, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 3, 2014 Your instructions are very close to what received in late October except our boarding times were an hour earlier. The ship has been disembarking late for several weeks so perhaps the later hour on the letter will alleviate the long line of folks waiting at 11 am to get on board. Just FYI - we arrived at port just prior to 11 and it was not until after 12:30 that and the first passengers were allowed to go through security. The lines were really long. I understand some were in line for 3 hours. As for the times for different decks - you can disregard those. enjoy the cruise. M
sergeant655 Posted December 4, 2014 #4 Share Posted December 4, 2014 It is a automated emai. I just got off a b2b on freedom and got one for both legs even though I was on board when the one for the second leg was sebt. They appear to be sending these out for all cruise from Miami, ft lauderdale and port canaveral.
shirleygallegos60 Posted December 4, 2014 #5 Share Posted December 4, 2014 I got one for 11/16 sailing...I had already made arrangements for my shuttle so I kept it the way I had it. They were not checking times. Just go when you need to.
