CP Tech Posted December 5, 2014 #5 Share Posted December 5, 2014 Great.. now the TA will be filled with Parrot-Heads. :( On the plus side, this opens the chance that he may perform on the TA also which would be pretty cool.
SissasMomE Posted December 5, 2014 #6 Share Posted December 5, 2014 He won't perform on the TA. I definitely think he will be on one of the future sailings, maybe even the inaugural.
GoofyCrew Posted December 6, 2014 #7 Share Posted December 6, 2014 Our FAMILY loves Margaritaville! At the right time of day, it isn't all Parrotheads. ;)

barnacle_boy Posted December 6, 2014 #9 Share Posted December 6, 2014 I think the far more interesting announcement is that they will expand to the rest of the fleet. Where do you suppose they'd put it on the older ships? From the Miami Herald: "Margaritaville eventually will be expanded to the rest of the fleet, but details haven’t been set yet, said Vanessa Lane Picariello, Norwegian’s director of public relations." http://www.miamiherald.com/living/travel/cruises/article4283931.html

SissasMomE Posted December 7, 2014 #11 Share Posted December 7, 2014 (edited) It seems strange because it's basically pub food - which they already have with O'Sheehan's .... I wouldn't mind the seafood tacos though :-) Edited December 7, 2014 by SissasMomE
DGP1111 Posted December 7, 2014 #12 Share Posted December 7, 2014 Really, would that ruin a cruise? I have zero clue why that question was asked. No, it would 'ruin' nothing . . . just be disappointing to someone who orders several Coronas during each sailing. . chrisc71 Posted December 7, 2014 #14 Share Posted December 7, 2014 They could just re-brand one of the specialty or just put the 5 O'Clock bar in place of one the bars. And honestly in a few years the old ships will be probably start going away; especially after Bliss sails.
Ilovesailing Posted December 7, 2014 #15 Share Posted December 7, 2014 (edited) Great now the wearer's of baseball caps into the dining venues and the folks wearing two sizes too small sleeveless tank tops will have somewhere to hang out. Yes I'm old school were hats should be left at the door. Edited December 7, 2014 by Ilovesailing

younglegend Posted December 7, 2014 #18 Share Posted December 7, 2014 Gross. A restaurant with margarita in its name, but not a fresh lime to be found in any of its drinks. Unless you count the garnish.
Beaver1975 Posted December 7, 2014 #19 Share Posted December 7, 2014 On Harvest Cay and Great Stirrup Cay sounds like a great idea. Having it on the new larger ships might be a good idea. Replacing Bliss on the Jewel class ships would be a decent idea also. But, it would probably not work out well on the Sun, Sky, Dawn, Star and Spirit. Yes I'm old school were hats should be left at the door. Some folks who wear hats to dine are also making a Statement( like what's on the Hat!!) and some of us are hiding horrible Scars, the result of military wounds... You can salute and thank me if we ever sail on a cruise...

david_sobe Posted December 8, 2014 #25 Share Posted December 8, 2014 Has NCL confirmed Margaritaville will be serving food? I had not seen that. They have great nachos  Tobacco Road has excellent food but NCL said they are only putting the bar and not the restaurant on Escape. So curious. Is this another bar only venue?
