copper004 Posted December 11, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 11, 2014 i have booked a cruise on the NCL Pearl for July to Alaska. The class of cabin we have upgraded to states that a butler is provided. I have never booked a cabin like this before and honestly don't know what I would need one for. Any advise on what the butler's duty's are and what I could or should not ask them to do would be helpful. All tips would be appreciated
Ilovesailing Posted December 11, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 11, 2014 Go back to NCL main page and use search engine, put in "butler service" and there is a couple dozen pages covering the topic.
garycarla Posted December 11, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 11, 2014 (edited) Go back to NCL main page and use search engine, put in "butler service" and there is a couple dozen pages covering the topic. There are some long threads about Butler. Topic of tipping has no easy answer. A butler is like a super duper cabin steward. I would search on just BUTLER and you will have a ton of stuff. Some folks will say telling someone to search is not helping. I disagree totally. The OP will get way more information that just waiting for a response here. tsjj4nurse Posted December 30, 2014 #5 Share Posted December 30, 2014 We were upgraded and had a butler as well. Their job is to make sure your happy. Ours checked on us twice a day, brought mid-day snacks, and was our problem solver. The butler is really a personalized attendant.
