andy.capitan Posted December 15, 2014 Author #102 Share Posted December 15, 2014 Roatan was perhaps our best port weather, but still rained some. I had made arrangements to go to Little French Key for the day. Look like Royal was a Coxen Hole. a Carnival ship was already at Mahogany Bay. The two ports are not that far apart as the crow flies. andy.capitan Posted December 15, 2014 Author #103 Share Posted December 15, 2014 We had ordered breakfast via the door hanger card and it arrived within the requested delivery interval (30 minutes). A warm breakfast sandwich was apparently good because Elizabeth ordered the same the next day, too.
andy.capitan Posted December 15, 2014 Author #104 Share Posted December 15, 2014 Mahogany Bay is an interesting port in a number of ways including ships back up to dock.

andy.capitan Posted December 15, 2014 Author #106 Share Posted December 15, 2014 We took advantage of the $2pp taxi ride up the "hill" and out the gate to meet the people from Little French Key. We were put in a van with 4 other people and off we went. After paying for the excursion we boards a pontoon like boat for the short trip to the island. Beermam42 Posted December 15, 2014 #113 Share Posted December 15, 2014 (edited) Just off the Dec 7-2014 Cruise. We will be back. Purchased the future cruise credits. Ship was on time Drove right up to terminal dropped luggage got back in car drove around to parking area entrance. Parked car. Had pre paid parking on line, was parked in front row 50 ft from door. 10:00 AM CST. EZ entrance, Security Check, Health Statement, Check In, Boarding Pass, Number 2, Blue FTC. There are places for all the other groups. Waited maybe 30 to 40 mins meet all of our social media friends and roll call friends and on board checked into room and eating lunch by noon. Very EZ. Great cruise, Great People, Great Food, and Lots of Fun. Many thanks to all Emerald personnel, epically Kelvin CD who really made things great. Good entertainment. We made all ports on time, and had great weather, including a day in Cozumel at 73 degrees Will not see that in next trip in June. Crown Grill was outstanding, this was the only specialty dinning we did, have to save something for next trip. Love anytime dinning. We were 1.5 hrs late on return. Were at outer market off Galveston for 4:00AM but sat there for some time. They said fog but no fog to be seen and none in channel so either the pilot was late of the tug they now use to help turn the ship in the two hard turns was late. But was not Fog. But for me home by 3:00PM will not let the little problem in Departure effect what was a great Cruise. Thank You Princess. andy.capitan Posted December 15, 2014 Author #117 Share Posted December 15, 2014 And the rain started so I decided it was time to go snorkeling. There is a snorkel boat tour you can take, but I decided for the first visit just to try from the shore.

andy.capitan Posted December 15, 2014 Author #120 Share Posted December 15, 2014 Perhaps the most interesting thing I saw - a Lionfish! I would think they would want to kill them all since a non-native fish.
