setsail Posted December 18, 2014 #26 Share Posted December 18, 2014 Glad to see the question I asked in the OP was legit. Seems there were other confused about Sabor too. It is confusing, and it continues to the restaurant where we thought the menu was very confusing, asked questions of the waiter, even more confusing:p It was ok, dinner no, great for a lunch taco on the boardwalk. Never saw it busy, so a pre-resi might not be needed for dinner
crazy4themouse Posted December 18, 2014 #27 Share Posted December 18, 2014 I much prefer the Navigator and the more formal atmosphere for dinner but for lunch the a la carte pricing was great. Wait, what? I thought that it was a flat $20 for lunch, not a la carte?
Clarea Posted December 18, 2014 #28 Share Posted December 18, 2014 Wait, what? I thought that it was a flat $20 for lunch, not a la carte? It's confusing because Sabor is flat rate on Navigator and a la carte on Oasis.
nednrom Posted December 18, 2014 #29 Share Posted December 18, 2014 Wait, what? I thought that it was a flat $20 for lunch, not a la carte? There is a menu floating around in one of the reviews I read because we are interested going. I just can't find it. I will post the menu when we get back on the 12th. What I saw was that the items are ala carte but they have a $20 dollar special which allows you to select 1 item from each category -- app, entree and desert. That's why there isn't a charge when you book the reservation. We decided not to go for dinner but stop by there for drinks or lunch sometime. Here is the Oasis Sabor Menu from Mr. Mom's review.:) Does anyone know if the "Box of Sweets" is shareable? What is in it? Smiley4 Posted December 18, 2014 #31 Share Posted December 18, 2014 Just ate at Sabor last week on the Oasis for lunch. Got in just before the rush. There was a line out the door upon our departure. It appears to be way more popular than the former Seafood Shack. RCCL got this change right.

Rare BillOh Posted December 18, 2014 #34 Share Posted December 18, 2014 12 dollars for a Margarita!?!?!!?!? I could see paying $12 for a frozen margarita at Senor Frogs if the diameter at the top of the glass was at least 8" and at least 2" deep.
packedandready Posted December 19, 2014 #35 Share Posted December 19, 2014 Thanks! Just want to make sure I'm budgeting correctly. :) You're going to enjoy it. We're booked on the Navigator again in April and plan on going again.:D

mickeychicky Posted March 4, 2016 #40 Share Posted March 4, 2016 Since this is a la carte is gratuity added on automatically -or- is that included in our pre-paid gratuity? or leave it on the table? This gratuity thing gets confusing when you pre-pay it. We want to try this on embarkation day since it's more casual dress....

Gratuities are included in the price of every specialty restaurant meal however you may leave more if you feel the service was worth it.
Sunny AZ Girl Posted March 4, 2016 #42 Share Posted March 4, 2016 We had lunch t Sabor on the Oasis on boarding day. It was very relaxing and a nice way to visit with friends while the Windjammer and Park Cafe were crazy busy. We may do the same thing on the Harmony this October.
