I'm going on 10 th January 2015. Kew Gardens is on the same one as me. Went on the Nile a few years back on the Mayflower which carried about 150 and there were only five of us. Strange at first but got used to it and it was fantastic. Looks like it could be the same here!!!

Totallygaga and KEWGARDENS - Not long before the off! Probably closer to 170 than 5!! As is often said one meets some very interesting fellow passengers on the Clippers and I hope that is your experience. If by chance this is your first exploration to the BVIs it might be worth a bit of research beforehand. In Jost van Dyke there is the Soggy Dollar Bar - a renowned watering hole for yachties. In Virgin Gorda there is the Bitter End Yacht Club - also a "world" destination for sailors (and others). IF the Star Clipper goes in to North Sound, Virgin Gorda suggest you be in the vicinity of the Bridge as it goes in (and as it comes out) - a masterclass of navigation by the Captain. Have a great, and warm, holiday.
