mouche Posted December 29, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 29, 2014 I checked one of my travel mates special offers today and it was full of great deals, so we are thinking about another girls cruise in April. She had offers form $11 and up, the one we are thinking about is in April 2015 and would be $90 per person, so for a 6 night cruise for two it would be a TOTAL of $406.00 that's a good deal to me:D

cruizinisthebest Posted December 29, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 29, 2014 I love how Carnival loads some VIFP profiles with tons of offers and others with nothing. Ever.

Some of us know when and when it's not a good offer. I get the ones for either the Inspiration or Imagination. No thank you, the sooner they get rid of those two ships the better. I'm not flying across the country to go on a 6-day cruise and the flight costs me more than the cruise. How dumb is that?
jsmac3 Posted December 29, 2014 #6 Share Posted December 29, 2014 I just made my final payment on our Pride repositioning cruise in March. After making the payment I had a pop-up offering a one-time 20% discount on excursions for Bonaire & Aruba but not the other ports. First time I've seen anything like this. Ain't that a trip! You don't even sail Carniva. Hey maybe that's why. We always have one booked. Was it a promo code? If so, perhaps you can post it in a new thread for others who may be visiting those ports soon. I'm game for that. I'm slated for Aruba in 2015! TrqoisWtrs Posted December 29, 2014 #9 Share Posted December 29, 2014 I too got some special offers. Right now have a cruise on hold for May - 7 day on the Splendor, balcony, solo cruiser for $1,100. That is pretty decent for solo cruising. :)

How dumb is that? I agree, I have a freebie booked for the Fantasy in 25 days, and the only reason I'm sailing the Fantasy again for the 4th time is the casino offer and short drive to the port. Nothing wrong with the Fantasy but I'm over this itinerary and this ship. The one in April is for 6 nights on the Conquest, and only one in our group has sailed this ship, so having something new to look forward to is a good thing. We'll see, I forgot to state in my above post that the special offer comes with some OBC!!! Edited December 29, 2014 by mouche
S.S.Oceanlover Posted December 29, 2014 #11 Share Posted December 29, 2014 I didn't have any offers but my wife did. I don't know what I'm doing wrong though. Logged into her account it says for 4/26 6 day Conquest sailing it is $90 for an inside pp. Once I click on it, the price changes to $249pp. Bill

When I do a mocked booking I get $90pp with tax and port fees, total is $406.00 with $30 OBC I get the $90 on the calendar that pops up, then when i go to book it says $90 but when I start the booking it says $249pp and puts me in a 1A with no upgrade and no OBC. Did you have to enter the promo code? I didn't see any place to enter that online? Bill

mouche Posted December 29, 2014 Author #16 Share Posted December 29, 2014 I see what you are saying, it did the same for me too, not sure what happen or what's going on. Wish I had done a screen shot saver on the mocked booking I did earlier. I also see that the $11 cruise is now $20 and most of the others have changed also and when I do a booking for a $20 cruise it take it to $120 and so on. Maybe this is glitch in the system or they are in the process of changing prices.
emilyaf Posted December 29, 2014 #17 Share Posted December 29, 2014 This is happening to me also.. It worked fine this morning, but now the price changes when I start the booking no matter which cruise I'm looking at.

JustMeandeveryoneelse Posted December 29, 2014 #20 Share Posted December 29, 2014 I finally got some Carnival "special offers" that I have only heard about in the past.....hit the jackpot this time! I booked a 5 day cruise, interior room (4C), leaving from JAX on January 17, 2015 going to Nassau and Half Moon Cay for the hubster and myself for a total of 343.90 (INCLUDES prepaid grats) and they even threw in a $30.00 OBC. We are 4 hours from JAX, and the drive is very enjoyable! I feel pretty fortunate to be able to get the luck of the draw because we have cruised 6 times in the last 30 years, so it had to be random luck, for sure. Yes I have paid for the "special offer" cruise and have printed all the documents! I usually go through my PVP at Carnival to book cruises, but I went ahead at 5:30 this morning and booked and paid for the whole cruise! I just couldn't wait until he comes in at 11:00 in the morning to book it through him. I thought maybe I needed another cup of coffee before proceeding because the whole thing looked too good to be true, but I was all over it......lol.
