Does Carnival have a coffee card for specialty coffees like Princess for purchase? I do not think so. They did for a while - but I haven't seen one in many years! :(
cruisin_baker Posted January 4, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 4, 2015 We just got off Breeze...they have a card where you buy 6, get one free. Sent from my Ipad
nwcruiselover Posted January 4, 2015 #4 Share Posted January 4, 2015 No, Carnival doesn't have coffee cards. It's all pay as you go for specialty coffees. They're really good though!
love my grandkids Posted January 4, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 4, 2015 Interesting 2 of 3 answers were wrong. They do have coffee card buy 6 at regular prices (including 15% tip) and #7 was free. This was on Miracle two weeks ago.
lindnet Posted January 4, 2015 #6 Share Posted January 4, 2015 Is this new? I don't remember seeing anything about it when I was on the Magic in October.

This was on Miracle two weeks ago. I assumed - yeah...I know  - that the OP was referring to an unlimited card. Similar to the soda card that for one fee you get specialty coffees all week. They did have one of those years ago - but now just offer the card you referred to. ;)
happy cruzin Posted January 4, 2015 #8 Share Posted January 4, 2015 Is this new? I don't remember seeing anything about it when I was on the Magic in October. No...not "new" - but the only reason I know about it was the sign I saw on the counter at the coffee shop. ;)

GweninTX Posted January 5, 2015 Author #10 Share Posted January 5, 2015 On Princess there are 15 punches for specialty coffee and you get unlimited brewed coffee and tea. We will be on the Freedom - do they have this?
SadieN Posted January 5, 2015 #11 Share Posted January 5, 2015 Carnival does not have anything similar to the Princess coffee card. The buffet coffee machines do use ground coffee, not the syrup that Princess uses. DH had a LOOOONG discussion with one of the buffet guys late night. What Carnival does have that Princess doesn't is Hot Chocolate Machines.:)

I'm going to blame it on my brain not working from lack of coffee when I go there. :D I'm not able to read until after the first cup.
ksaunders Posted January 5, 2015 #14 Share Posted January 5, 2015 I really wonder why they don't have a coffee card like the soda. Cruising is about relaxing and to me having a good cup of coffee is as relaxing as it gets, so they're practically married already. I'd pay good money to have good coffee anytime I wanted it. Davey Wavey Posted January 5, 2015 #15 Share Posted January 5, 2015 I'd pay good money to have good coffee anytime I wanted it. Just go to the coffee shop and flash your S&S card. You can pretend it's an unlimited coffee card, except for most people it'll probably cost way less this way.

I have never noticed this. Is it good on cappuccinos and lattes or just plain coffee? I'm not sure I want to bother to remember to carry a punch card around though... Tracy Po Posted January 23, 2016 #19 Share Posted January 23, 2016 We just got off Breeze...they have a card where you buy 6, get one free. Sent from my Ipad I know I'm late to this forum, but as a fellow Canadian, I'm guessing that you find there is a difference in strength in most U.S. coffee. How would you rate the strength of the coffee from the Breeze's cafe's? How would it compare to Starbucks bold?
DobberDog Posted January 23, 2016 #20 Share Posted January 23, 2016 (edited) I get the punch card on every one of our cruises with Carnival. It works out really well for me on 7 day cruises since my free coffee is disembarkation morning while waiting to get off the ship. At home, I have a nespresso machine and make myself lattes several times a day. While cruising, I keep my coffee to 1 per morning. The card is good for any coffee beverage purchase at the coffee shop or the atrium bar. Their coffee is good, better than the buffet drip coffee. way better than Starbucks burnt tasting coffee in my opinion as well. It does the job for me on cruises. I usually get a non fat latte each morning but on my 4 day cruise at Thanksgiving, I got mochas and caramel mochas. The coffee shop also offers baileys and the such alcohols to put in your coffee beverages as well. ETA: coffee shop opens at 7-730 am. :( not early enough in my opinion. Bradiego Posted January 23, 2016 #21 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Just off Carnival Freedom on Thursday and we had to ask about the coffee punch card or we would not have received it. We had it on our last cruise on Triumph as well. The Coffee Shop near the casino on Deck 5 was open by 6:30 am on our trip and the specialty coffee was definitely worth it and a nice treat in the mornings. WiCruiseDreamer Posted April 26, 2016 #22 Share Posted April 26, 2016 I am very late to this thread, but, how much are the specialty coffees? What kind do they have? And with the punch card, what all is included? Thanks in advance for all the help.
