jeudee Posted January 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2015 I was wondering what everyone's favorite creations or "food hacks" are on carnival ships?

cruzysuzy331 Posted March 22, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 22, 2017 Hoping someone sees this....cause I amazed myself....so hubby got a pepperoni pizza....I wandered over to the salad bar....saw ham...saw pineapple. Oh, yeah. 🍕🐷🍍!! Pealed off the pepperoni, which I don't hate, piled it on his half, and laid out the ham and pineapple. Heaven. 🍕😇

[emoji487][emoji56] Some pizza chefs will put on other buffet items onto your pizza, just need to take the whole pie. I usually bring over sliced peppers. Rare crewsweeper Posted March 22, 2017 #8 Share Posted March 22, 2017 On ships with the old Fish n Chips, I used to grab some tortillas and salsa from the Blue Iguana or Burrito Bar and then head to the F&C and peel off the breading to make a reasonable facsimile of a fish taco. The fish pellets in the Blue Iguana are terrible. My other, similar hack, was on the Dream to combine the tandoori fish and naan with the nice greens and curries there and have an Indian fish taco. Can work with their tandoori chicken too but you have to break up the pieces before adding condiments and folding the naan.
Staceman225 Posted March 22, 2017 #9 Share Posted March 22, 2017 The "Lemon Jess" (named after my daughter who invented it) In a drinking glass mix vanilla ice cream with some of the lemonade - sort of a lemonade float. watermelonqueen99 Posted March 22, 2017 #12 Share Posted March 22, 2017 If we're on a 2.0, we get a jalapeno tortilla from Blue Iguana, then get chicken strips, cheese, lettuce and ranch from Lido buffet and make a wrap.
