Pegleg56 Posted January 21, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2015 (edited) Booked on the Dawn and Spirit this year. If anyone has any info on the names of the slot machines that are on either ship please share! Also, are they small or crowded, easy to play a machine? Thanks! LaCal Posted February 19, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2015 (edited) I'm going on the Dawn in 3 1/2 weeks and would love to hear what types of slot machines there are as well Edited February 19, 2015 by LaCal
Pegleg56 Posted February 20, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted February 20, 2015 Oh great, hope you enjoy! I hope someone responds before you go. Please post some info when you get back. Would like to know if they have Quick Hits (what denomination, max bet)? and I really, really love the Bulls Eye Bonus Machines such as the Hot Hot Habanaro and Gaucho's Gold? Also, Power Strike? And Hot Hot Super Respin? Any info would be appreciated. Hope you have a fabulous cruise!!
Grandpaul Posted February 20, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2015 It's been so long since I've been on the Spirit that I can't remember how big the casino is. The casino on the Dawn is good size. Shouldn't be a problem playing. Can't help with the slot machines. Crap table yes.

I didn't see any of the machines you mentioned. There was a good number of machines but mostly older games. There was Pistol Pete, Cashman, and Pink Diamonds that I can remember. The casino was almost empty most of the time. No problem playing a machine. They were very tight. Of the 30 cruises I've been on this was the most disappointing casino I have played in. The casino staff were not friendly at all and the casino host girl just sat behind a counter most of the time. The bar staff just stood around most of the time and were not very friendly either. Hope your experience will be better than mine.
Pegleg56 Posted February 20, 2015 Author #6 Share Posted February 20, 2015 Thanks for the response. Very sorry to hear that. I have been on many NCL cruises and enjoyed all and had a good time in the casino. Also sorry to hear that you didnt see QUICK HITS or the BULLS EYE BONUS (Habenaro, Gauchos Gold). We love playing them; they are very popular in the land casinos.

We love playing them; they are very popular in the land casinos. Those are 2 of my favourites as well. Unless they add them before your cruise they weren't there on mine. Most of the machines were high minimum bids. Very few 30 or 40 cent minimum bids. The tables weren't very busy. Only the roulette and craps table seemed busy. My husband plays poker and it was hard to get enough people for a game.
Pegleg56 Posted February 21, 2015 Author #8 Share Posted February 21, 2015 I can hope they add them or some more of the newer machines! They do switch them up from year to year.....at least they did on the other NCL ships. Thanks for the info....hope you enjoy your upcoming cruise!
