Never say Never! It is possible you may have to tender in St. Thomas!

On Ruby Princess (1/21/2015) we were scheduled to dock in St. Thomas (Crown Bay) BUT we ended up TENDERING.

Gosh, it had been 20 or so years since we had tendered in St. Thomas.

The tender dock was in the middle of town so was convenient and not a problem for us ... but not so good for those in wheelchairs who could not walk unassisted up/down three steps.

Bottom Line: You never really know until you get into port. ;)

Yes, we have tendered twice in St. Thomas. Once on Costa and once on the Dawn. Getting off the Costa we were concerned because we'd booked a private tour and weren't sure where we should go but there was Ron standing there with a sign and the name of our family.
