lolane1 Posted February 5, 2015 #26 Share Posted February 5, 2015 A mans got to do what a man has to do, or woman. We live by our choices. Yep, for sure. Had the critters in my house from travel before. Once bitten, twice shy.
sweet carol Posted February 5, 2015 #27 Share Posted February 5, 2015 Hi We stayed 2 nights at the Crown Plaza and we're pleased with our room. We had booked several months ago on Priceline. One of the employees told us that the hotel had recently been sold. So maybe they will now renovate. Yes it could use an update but it was clean, service was excellent and staff were more than willing to help you. They do not have a safe in the room but they do offer use of a safe at the front desk. Overnight parking was free and we had rented a car at the airport from Enterprise and Enterprse has a rental office at the hotel so we choose for $40 to drop the car there as well. Internet was also free. Transfer to the cruise terminal was $5.00 per person, purchase at the check in desk, and they start this service at 10:30 on cruise day. On our return we had arranged with the hotel to return to their hotel that morning with their transfer, but phoning the hotel and advising them we were ready to be picked up from the ship, they arrived 15 minutes later transferred us back to the hotel. We were not flying out until 6:00 p.m. They held our bags in storage for no charge and we were able to go out and enjoy the day in San Pedro. So much nicer than hanging out for a day at the airport. We would definately stay there again.
