qsuzi Posted February 4, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2015 Do all HAL ships offer “An Evening at Le Cirque” and how often?
Krazy Kruizers Posted February 4, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2015 The Rotterdam has the De Librije. The Eurodam has the De Librije one week and Le Cirque the next week. Other than those exceptions, all the other ships have the Le Cirque.
KirkNC Posted February 4, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2015 It is usually offered once per cruise but I have seen it twice per cruise on longer voyages.

Huskerchick Posted February 4, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 4, 2015 With the noted exceptions that KK posted Le Cirque is usually offered once a week. It is by far my favorite dining experience and IMHO well worth the supplement. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Hflors Posted February 4, 2015 #6 Share Posted February 4, 2015 My very favorite is the Master cellars wine paring dinners. We just did it again and really enjoyed the experience. It was well worth the extra charge.

Krazy Kruizers Posted February 4, 2015 #9 Share Posted February 4, 2015 Le Cirque is $49 per person. 25% discount for 3 star mariners and 50% discount for 4 and 5 star mariners. Chef Rudi's dinner is offered on all cruises no matter the length and is limited to usually 16 - 18 people depending on the size of the ship. It is $89 per person. No discounts for anyone. The Cellar Master's dinner has only been offered on our longer cruises (not offered on our 7 day cruises). No limit to the number of people who can attend. It is $129 per person. No discounts for anyone.
George C Posted February 4, 2015 #10 Share Posted February 4, 2015 I have done this a few times but in general prefer normal Pinnacle menu to Le Circe
cruz chic Posted February 4, 2015 #11 Share Posted February 4, 2015 I have done this a few times but in general prefer normal Pinnacle menu to Le Circe I have to agree. I've tried le cirque and the cellar masters dinner and while they were fine I didn't find them worth the extra charge. I like the normal pinnacle menu. Fancy food is really lost on me. I know others feel differently.

taxmantoo Posted February 4, 2015 #17 Share Posted February 4, 2015 Looking at the new menus and see they have added "chateaubriand". Does anyone know whether or not they offer this for one person or is it the traditional platter for two?

Rare Crew News Posted February 4, 2015 #20 Share Posted February 4, 2015 (edited) Thanks for saving me time by including the links. There are many more items on the Pinnacle Grill menu that I would eat vs. only 1 appetizer and fewer entrees on the Le Cirque menu. I generally will try foods I have not eaten but I draw the line at trying escargot. :) I also draw the line at trying escargot!! cruz chic Posted February 4, 2015 #22 Share Posted February 4, 2015 Food is food ... "fancy" is in the eye of the beholder ;) Absolutely agree. I'm speaking of pouring soup out of a teapot or foam on food. That is just odd to me. If folks like that, it's all good. It's just not my personal like. Krazy Kruizers Posted February 4, 2015 #24 Share Posted February 4, 2015 Can you tell us more about Chef Rudi's dinner? How do you make reservations? Thanks! Go to the Pinnacle Grill on Embarkation Day and sign up there. Some times it sells out quickly and other times they don't get enough people and have to cancel it. We get 1 Pinnacle grill dinner through Explore 4 and the card with our date and time will be in the cabin. Once we have that information I will take your advice and see if we can make an additional booking. :) Edited February 4, 2015 by qsuzi
