Phxazzcruisers Posted February 15, 2015 #27 Share Posted February 15, 2015 Hello all, We had to cancel our Alaska cruise due to partners diagnosis of cancer. Chemo and radiation all done just as we hit our 25th anniversary. We're looking to splurge on one this coming year but haven't decided as to which line to take. We "love" Celebrity but do RCI a lot more due to affordability. Decisions decisions. It's only money though I guess.......... Anyone with any suggestions? Most likely, we'll do Aqua Class. So very sorry to hear. We would vote for a celebration on Celebrity. I hope things go well.
RMS Olympic Posted February 15, 2015 #28 Share Posted February 15, 2015 Best wishes for a favorable outcome. Things are nice, but memories can be so much better. Hope you get back on the water and make some memorable moments to cherish. If I didn't go through separation anxiety with leaving the dog, I'd bee on a ship as often as possible. Hope things get better and you can get on the water;)

davela2 Posted March 11, 2015 #31 Share Posted March 11, 2015 My partner and I booked Adventure of the Seas February 6, 2016 out of San Juan. Sails to St. Thomas, St. Croix, Antigua, St. Lucia, Grenada. We've done five cruises on Atlantis, but this will be our first "straight" cruise. Going with a small group of friends. The price was amazingly low, so we just went for it.
yyjguy Posted March 11, 2015 #32 Share Posted March 11, 2015 September 28,2016. Emerald Princess from Southampton to Singapore. Possibility of staying on to Sydney, but that is still up in the air.
RMS Olympic Posted April 6, 2015 #33 Share Posted April 6, 2015 Decided to put off my India tour for a year......and instead booked Koningsdam out of Amsterdam to Norway in August. May add a second HAL cruise in Dec 2016...out of Ft Lauderdale. So that makes 4 cruises in 2016...2 on NCL and one or possibly two on HAL. Dog is not going to be happy. Very excited about the Koningsdam! Ciao
medousa1979 Posted April 6, 2015 #34 Share Posted April 6, 2015 Right now it's just the Atlantis Southern Caribbean Cruise on the Summit in March 2016. If my solo "normal" cruise goes well this December, I might make that an annual getaway. ;)
cruzeluver Posted April 6, 2015 #35 Share Posted April 6, 2015 Currently have Celebrity Reflection (Eastern Caribbean) booked for next March. May look to add something else in the Fall. Ryan

Mathguy42 Posted April 10, 2015 #38 Share Posted April 10, 2015 We are narrowing down some choices. We want to visit the Greek islands, especially Santorini, as that has been on our bucket list for a while. We've been to Istanbul before and loved it, but so far we are down to Celebrity out of Venice or Rome. The Venice one is with Pied Piper which gets excellent reviews as an organizer. The Rome one is not a gay or gay escorted cruise but has a stop in Sicily which also intrigues us. We are looking at late August or September 2016 so it's way to early to make a decision and we'll see if any specials come up over the next few months. We usually do 2 or 3 nights near port of departure/arrival before and after each cruise.
hdowney Posted April 30, 2015 #39 Share Posted April 30, 2015 I'm booked on the NCL JADE 7n Greek Isles out of Venice July 2nd 2016. Which includes my birthday :D
donnatello Posted May 5, 2015 #40 Share Posted May 5, 2015 Yep...we'be booked our annual winter Caribbean cruise last month for Feb 2016. We also have a couple on the books prior to that. The G&L roll calls don't seem to get as much action as other roll calls so now I don't post there until a month/6 weeks prior to sailing. If I do post far in advance they seem to end up so many pages down, most folks don't search that far back, so like I said, now I will post much closer to the departure date. We're doing a cruise next month and I posted that several months ago. I think we're on page 6 or 7 now, and additional posts. Like I said, I don't think most folks will go back more then a page or two.

2star Posted May 18, 2015 #44 Share Posted May 18, 2015 Haven't booked yet, but looking really hard at the Getaway in May 2016 with a quick 2 or 3 day trip down to Key West before the cruise. Then in the fall of '16 we've been talking about a Mexico cruise out of San Diego (any suggestions on cruise line?). We are going on NCL Epic this October (Halloween!) and are hoping they offer some exclusive deals on future cruises;)

TxnAquarian Posted May 30, 2015 #48 Share Posted May 30, 2015 We will have a great cruise year. I had posted on this thread on the first page, but we have updated one of our trips. We are doing a 10-day in June on Azamara Journey from Athens - Venice. Most of the ports we have been to, but we are really excited about returning to them - especially the overnight in Mykonos. And then in December we are doing a 14-day roundtrip cruise from Abu Dhabi on Celebrity Constellation with ports in India and the ship docking for New Year's Eve in Dubai. This will be a 40th birthday year for both us, so we are really excited to be celebrating by ship. Hope to see some of you all on board!
