ellasmomanddad Posted February 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2015 We booked an april 2016 cruise on the dream. The ta asked if we wanted to be near the nursery (we will have a 2.5 year old at the time of travel). We don't plan on using the nursery so I guess my question is, is that a good area on the ship or should I ask for a different deck
moki'smommy Posted February 13, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2015 I don't think there is such a thing as a "bad" area on the ship. The restaurants are aft as is the kiddie splash area. Nightclubs on the new ships are also aft. Mid is kid programming and more restaurants as well as family oriented areas and beverage station. Forward is spa and adult only pools. So, I'd pick forward, mid, or aft on that basis and price. Then as far as deck....you don't want to be right above or below a nightclub or theatre, or right below the pool deck (cleaning at night).
