Janine Posted February 13, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2015 Has anyone done the ATV tour T El Yunque? If so, how did you get from the ship to El Yunque and how much did it cost?

I've tried the search feature on this board and came up short. Anyone???
Stinger-pr Posted February 14, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2015 Do a google search for El Yunque ATV. As far as I know, the only company with this type of excursion is Carabali Rainforet park. But, since the rainforest itself is protected by the US Park Services, the only place the ride is on the foothills of El Yunque. It still makes an excellent trip as you're surrounded by rivers and vegetation. But if you're expecting to see waterfalls, you'll need to venture further up the mountain. RayInPR Posted February 15, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2015 As mentioned, this ATV tour is in the foothills of El Yunque ... it's not in "El Yunque National Forest" (which is managed by the US Forest Service) for obvious reasons ... it's a federal forest. Fourseventeen Posted February 17, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 17, 2015 since you cant actually take ATVs into the rainforest I would opt to do the walking tour of el yunque. I have done the hiking tour and it was a real neat experience.
