champagne lover Posted February 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2015 Just about to book this for June, a couple of questions. If we take a couple of bottles of wine with us onboard to drink in our cabin do we pay corkage? And, which dinner seating should we book as we do like to see theatre shows? Thank you
Moonraker7 Posted February 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2015 You can take what drinks you like on board for drinking in cabin (within reason!) and no corkage. Just corkage to pay if you take it to restaurants. Shows are after both sittings so you shouldn't miss them.
Pennbank Posted February 14, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2015 (edited) Just about to book this for June, a couple of questions. If we take a couple of bottles of wine with us onboard to drink in our cabin do we pay corkage? And, which dinner seating should we book as we do like to see theatre shows? Thank you Corkage is only charged if you take your bottles into the Restaurant or Bars. Although Cunard presently show the allowance of One bottle in their FAQ, to my knowledge no one has had any bottles confiscated on boarding. The Dinner seating is 6pm or 8.30pm. The shows cater for both sittings usually being 8.30pm and 10.30pm As there presently is only the Cunard fare being shown, you have the choice of Early 6pm dining in Britannia or 8.30pm if booking Britannia Class staterooms On QE you also have the choice of Britannia Club Dining if booking club balcony staterooms, https://ask.cunard.com/help/cunard/life-on-board/dining_options https://ask.cunard.com/help/cunard/before-you-sail/alcohol Edited February 14, 2015 by Pennbank

ToadOfToadHall Posted February 14, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 14, 2015 No, but don't forget to pack a corkscrew. David. Or buy wine with a screw top.
