NCTribeFan Posted February 20, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2015 I happened to check my offers this morning and, surprisingly, I have one for Premier sailings. Unfortunately, the page doesn't load. :( This is fare PC4, must book by 3/31. Anyone able to access this and give me the list of sailings? After all my whining about not getting any offers (and I never, ever get the free ones), I'd like to see if I can do another one of these. Probably not as I expect to need surgery in the spring and will be out-of-pocket a bunch for that. Certainly would much rather spend my money cruising (and gambling!). Still, would at least like to know what options are out there. Thanks!
Coolhand Posted February 20, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2015 We are seeing the same issue PC4 listed but when offer button is selected nothing loads as a pick list, just the loading Icon spinning and spinning and spinning.::confused:

I do not see the typical "from" price to the right of the offer on the VIFP Club Member Deals page, so it looks to me like they are in the process of uploading the new offer. I would be patient and give them a little time to get it fully uploaded and then check back. Good luck with your surgery. Maybe you could find a way to recuperate on the ship! Namelocg Posted February 20, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 20, 2015 I just called, they don't have the new dates yet. Said to try again later today or tomorrow. Or I can just ask when I get on the Splendor on Sunday for that premier sailing.

papillon cruiser Posted February 20, 2015 #7 Share Posted February 20, 2015 if you go do a mock booking and sign into to carnival website so your guest number shows up, you can see the cruises with special offer. They are usually the casino cruises. I just booked the dream for may
NCTribeFan Posted February 20, 2015 Author #8 Share Posted February 20, 2015 I did find a couple just by doing a general search and the prices for an inside for a solo are way higher than I paid for the 11/29 Freedom Premier I did. :( All my whining about not getting any more offers and I get so excited to see it this morning, but probably won't be able to book one. I just can't seeing paying for air, >$1,000 for an inside on Riviera, plus gambling money, plus any in-port excursions. Not my idea of a bargain. Yes, the $300 casino cash would help, as would the free drinks, but I just don't think it's in my budget. Not with the expensive Bermuda cruise in October. nayr30 Posted February 20, 2015 #9 Share Posted February 20, 2015 There's a lot of dates to choose from. I'm trying to decide whether I want to take a regular balcony on the Breeze May 23rd or the Captain's Suite on the Conquest May 31st. They both have the same itinerary. Has anyone stayed in the Captain's Suite?
caribnsnrklr Posted February 20, 2015 #10 Share Posted February 20, 2015 I called a couple hours ago and got the list. She laughed because she said she had just gotten the email but had lots of calls about it this morning. Freedom 4/25 Breeze 4/25 Dream 5/17 Breeze 5/23 Magic 5/24 Conquest 5/31 Dream 5/31 Triumph 6/7 Splendor 6/9 Sunshine 6/19 Valor 6/27 Glory 7/4 All seemed a bit pricey and didn't see any solo rates. Hope that helps
NCTribeFan Posted February 20, 2015 Author #11 Share Posted February 20, 2015 Nope. Not cheap. Just looking at a couple, my rates appear to be about $75 per person lower than the cheapest "regular" rate (one was a Super Saver), so maybe I'm just not used to spring/early summer prices. Still, probably too high for me. :(
hartskys Posted February 21, 2015 #12 Share Posted February 21, 2015 Prices look high to me too. Waiting for the reply from our PVP to see what the offer is for sure. We were actually looking at going on a cruise soon and got excited when I noticed we had the Premier Casino Offer until I checked prices. :(
NCTribeFan Posted February 21, 2015 Author #13 Share Posted February 21, 2015 Soon someone will come along and post about how THEIR cabin is always free and they're given thousands of dollars of casino cash and lots of other perks. Which, obviously, is not the point in this thread. This is about those of us who received This Particular Offer. I suppose I could put a deposit down on one, but I just booked my 2016 post-tax-season sailing. Still considering cancelling the Bermuda cruise (even though I booked early while rates were merely high, rather than outrageously exorbitant). I hate when real life interferes with my cruising plans! :p And it's tough when you're solo. I'll contact a few friends to see if anyone might be interested in joining me.
