'The Beach' Beach

Hi Guys, can anyone tell me the name of the beach where they filmed the film The Beach? Got a water taxi to it last time and hated it, felt very unsafe and hassled...don't want to book a trip and end up on the same beach

If you're referring to the 2000 Leo Dicaprio film, I believe all the beach scenes were filmed in Thailand (Phuket, Phi Phi Island).

hahahaha I actually think it was The Pirates of the Carribean....I know it was some film I've never watched...knew he was just trying to get me on his boat :confused:

Some parts of POTC were filmed in St. Lucia...

 

I believe the Pitons were shot for one scene. Also, the scene in the movie where the dead pirates are hanging under a cliff was filmed at the Lady Slipper rock formation near Soufriere (I think).

 

Other parts of the POTC movies were filmed in St. Vincent, Dominica and the Bahamas...
