Laurino Posted March 4, 2015 #26 Share Posted March 4, 2015 (edited) We dined once in Tamarind onboard NA last summer. The vibrations were quite pronounced, but no movement. It was sort of funny, I and a woman at the neighboring table had the shrimp tempura as appetizers, the two shrimps were stuffed in a cup and vibrated naughtily like kicking legs :p we all laughed. The Silk den was my favourite day lounge for reading. Much more quiet than the Crows nest. Comfy sofas and great views. Never had a drink there though. Rare Cruisergal1208 Posted March 4, 2015 #27 Share Posted March 4, 2015 (edited) Is it just me, but when I am on a ship I expect certain things to be ship-like and not building like; things like rocking; vibrations; tilting during sharp turns and wind when sailing. It reminds me that I am on a ship. :)Everything in moderation of course. :) This vibration is not the norm. I understand the normal movements of a ship and know what to expect, even in rough seas. As others have posted, in certain locations in the Tamarind it is worse. It did shake everything around us as well as what was on the table and even our bodies. We just would avoid the areas by the window if we go again. The venue is beautiful and service is great. Don't know how long this vibration has been going on but it was there the entire B2B Feb. 8-22, 2015.
