lei_augustanniversary Posted March 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2015 We are currently booked mid ship balcony view on the Epic for this August in Europe. Mini suites are $200 extra, doesn't seem too much. Is it worth it? Thanks!

Personally, I would not pay the difference.
SissasMomE Posted March 9, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 9, 2015 (edited) We are currently booked mid ship balcony view on the Epic for this August in Europe. Mini suites are $200 extra, doesn't seem too much. Is it worth it? Thanks! I guess it really depends. The bathrooms are larger. To me, that is worth it. It's up to you! Edited - just realized you were sailing on the Epic. No, I wouldn't pay extra. You only get a tub, and we aren't tub people. The 'away ships and the Escape you get a nice large shower and bathroom. That I would (and am) paying for! Edited March 9, 2015 by SissasMomE
Rare Clay Clayton Posted March 9, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 9, 2015 Only if having a bath tub rather than a shower stall is worth $200.
BendORcruiser Posted March 9, 2015 #5 Share Posted March 9, 2015 Do ALL mini-suites on the Epic have a tub? It didn't look like it on the layout.

thecakebox Posted March 9, 2015 #7 Share Posted March 9, 2015 Do ALL mini-suites on the Epic have a tub? It didn't look like it on the layout. No, some have a shower only. They alternate, the rooms with the bed by the balcony have a tub if I remember correctly.
backsbanny Posted March 9, 2015 #8 Share Posted March 9, 2015 Not worth it the balcony is just fine Sent from my iPhone using Forums
sixesandeights Posted March 9, 2015 #9 Share Posted March 9, 2015 We love having the large shower as opposed to the small shower stall. For us it is always worth it. We avoid the tub is possible because we would never take a bath, and on the Epic this is easy to do. 6&
JohnIreland Posted March 9, 2015 #10 Share Posted March 9, 2015 With two in the cabin a $200 (total) would be just about worth it. With more than two in the cabin it would defiantly be a good deal.
LrgPizza Posted March 9, 2015 #11 Share Posted March 9, 2015 We were in a standard balcony cabin on Epic, and could have easily fit 2 adults at a time in the shower. :) I wouldn't pay the $200.
Partyatsea Posted March 9, 2015 #12 Share Posted March 9, 2015 Do ALL mini-suites on the Epic have a tub? It didn't look like it on the layout. We had a mini suite on Epic 2X (same room, 14048) and it had a beautiful walk in shower, best we've had on any ship.
