niceguyneastbay Posted March 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2015 I am planning on bringing 8 bottles of wine on my cruise. I know I get 1 free bottle and so does my traveling companion leaving us to pay for 6 bottles of wine. Should I let my traveling companion hold their "free" bottle of wine and I hold 7 the and they (Princess) should charge me for the 6 extras bottles. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance. CruiserBruce Posted March 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2015 (edited) Can't think why it would matter if you each pay for and carry 3, plus your "free" bottle, or if you carry 7 and pay for 6. It should be all the same, unless I am missing something. Edited March 12, 2015 by CruiserBruce
Coveguy4 Posted March 12, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2015 If you are boarding together, it makes no differance, just go together to the table set up for wine coming aboard. You can both hand your cruise cards for cabin info to be copied down, and tell the person whose acct to put corkage fees for the other 6 bottles. paul929207 Posted March 13, 2015 #5 Share Posted March 13, 2015 If you board together, it does not matter. If you board separate, your companion must have a bottle to get the allowance
