Looking into spending the night before the cruise in Galveston. Are there any hotels that are good but not too pricey? Do any of the hotels allow you to leave your car there for the time of your cruise? And is that safe?

Thank you

Not sure what you consider pricey but we are using Hilton Galveston Island Resort. We are paying about $125 with taxes per night. Your car can be parked there for the length of your cruise.

$125 would be amazing. We are going in August so most hotels have their prices jacked up. I think I looked into that one but will double check.

Thank you

Try

Inn at the Waterpark

Gaidos

Sheraton

Quality

Red Roof

Commodore

I only looked online but will call tomorrow. Looks like a great place

It's a motel and good place to crash and usually inexpensive except for special events .

It's not Moody gardens, San luis, Galvez, harbor house , Tremont or Hilton .

We are just looking for somewhere to sleep..will be spending most of our time enjoying Galveston before we leave on a cruise.

I've pretty much searched everything...lol. Most are $200 a night or up for that time. Debating on staying in Texas city bit even that isn't much cheaper.

That is an option but prices can be high far out.

Will you have a car ?

I have a function there Thursday night

And will ask ones we know.
