thomarvin Posted March 24, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2015 (edited) We have a large group (12) cruising together in June. We would like to all be together. What is the largest table size on the Pride and how do we contact the Maitre D' to make it happen? And yes, we are all already linked. jamscckmc Posted March 24, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2015 We were at a table for 12. There were plenty of them. They were not round though. They were the long rectangle type. Hard to talk to everyone. Ours was right at a window.
penguin85 Posted March 24, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 24, 2015 We had 13 in our group and had a long table. Each night we switched seats so you got to talk to different people each night. Our TA linked our bookings and it was all arranged when we got on board.
laceydog Posted March 24, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 24, 2015 Do you think it is possible to get a round table for 12 people? I would prefer round to the long since it is so hard to talk to everyone. But we can make do with whatever, just wondering if it is possible.
thomarvin Posted March 24, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted March 24, 2015 I have seen some large round tables, I am not sure how many were at it. They had to yell to talk to the people on the other side because the dining room is so loud.
BigRed93 Posted March 24, 2015 #6 Share Posted March 24, 2015 I think the largest round might be for 10, though most are 6 or 8. You will either have a long rectangular table, or two tables next to each other. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
ASchaff Posted March 24, 2015 #7 Share Posted March 24, 2015 We had the largest round table on our most recent cruise and it only barely comfortably sat 10. Even at that table it was hard to talk to everyone. We stayed in our seats every night though. It was hard enough for our poor waiter to temember which of the 3 Mikes were which. Lol We were at a table for 2 in the main area of the dining room where all of the large tables for 10 are located. The table near us has 12 at it (when all showed up) and some were sitting with their chairs away from the table. Way too crowded. I haven't been on Pride but have been on her sister ships, Miracle & Legend. We were at a table for 14 along a window in the outer area so that will probably be where you are assigned.
