Taxi from InterContinental Miami

Hello!

I was think of traveling from Miami to Fort Lauderdale the day before my cruise as my flight arrives at 0930 am. I've never been to Fort Lauderdale and not sure if there is really anything to do there and would have to take a taxi. Anyone know what the approximate cost would be? Is there anything in Fort Lauderdale that shouldn't be missed?! Great restaurant for lunch worth trying? :confused:

 

We've been to Miami a number of times...Miami Beach as well. Just looking for something new to do/see. :D

Taxi each way will be about $75-80+ :eek:

 

I would either rent a car or explore more of Miami - Coconut Grove is fun and less touristy than SB.

From Miami to FLL it is a 45+ minute drive each way.
