IRL_Joanie Posted April 26, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 26, 2015 (edited) How do you go if you can't fit through the door of your cabin? I have known at least 2 (two) 500lb or more passengers (They are now friends of ours) who have fit through the stateroom doors with no problems. One was in an Ocean View and the other in a Suite. If they could make it I believe you will also:) Joanie Edited April 26, 2015 by IRL_Joanie

Iwant2BatC Posted April 26, 2015 #8 Share Posted April 26, 2015 I believe the handicap cabins also have wider doors so the wheel chairs can go through. Also, they have large showers

xlxo Posted April 26, 2015 #12 Share Posted April 26, 2015 I know my wheelchair would not fit unless I had it collapsed. I think the bathroom door is SMALLER. That would be a bigger concern when you need to leave a signature.
Rare Bedruthen Posted April 26, 2015 #13 Share Posted April 26, 2015 More worrying, what if you fit through at the start of the cruise, then enjoy too much of the great food onboard and can't get out your cabin again. You might have to stay onboard for the next cruise as well....
GUT2407 Posted April 26, 2015 #14 Share Posted April 26, 2015 Now the putting weight on part happens every cruise, :( the having to stay on for the next cruise I dream of. :D
Krazy Kruizers Posted April 26, 2015 #15 Share Posted April 26, 2015 It is true that the bathroom doors are smaller than the cabin doors. Maybe OP should consider the PS??
midwest 852 Posted April 26, 2015 #16 Share Posted April 26, 2015 (edited) Of course. This is the OP's idea of humour. I doubt very much that anyone that is quite heavy would post a picture like this as an avatar.[/ Edited April 26, 2015 by midwest 852 Wrong post

Actually, I was going to suggest "PS" but thought I'd 'tone it down' a bit. :D For the poster who thought we were being cruel, I suspect most of us think this is not a serious post. I take it to be having a bit off fun with us. Did you notice his avatar?

sail7seas Posted April 26, 2015 #20 Share Posted April 26, 2015 What I find more hurtful is that someone would start a thread like this thinking this topic is funny. It's not. I agree. The OP asked a question. I feel my response was respectful and informative. What was offensive about suggesting there are larger than average doorways available for booking?
